A detailed 1/35 scale reproduction of the 38(t)-based anti-aircraft tank.
This is a Plautik Models assembly kit that reproduces in 1/35 scale the Sd.Kfz.140 Gepard Flakpanzer 38(t), an anti-aircraft tank developed and used by the German army during World War II.

[About the actual car]
The Sd.Kfz.140 Gepard Flakpanzer 38(t) was an anti-aircraft tank developed by the German Army in 1943 during World War II.
Based on the chassis of the Czech 38(t) tank, an open-top fighting compartment was installed, in which the Marder III M model, equipped with a 7.5cm Pak 40 anti-tank gun, was replaced with a 2cm Flak 38 anti-aircraft gun.
A distinctive feature of the vehicle was that the engine was moved to the center of the vehicle and the rear of the vehicle was extended to create a large fighting compartment at the rear.
Production began in 1943 and the aircraft was deployed to various armored divisions to face off against Allied fighter planes, the Yabo.
It is said that around 140 vehicles were produced before production ended in 1944.


[About the model]
This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit of the German Sd.Kfz.140 Gepard anti-aircraft tank, deployed and used by the German army during World War II.
The kit accurately reproduces the distinctive and unique design of the vehicle, with a finished overall length of 131mm.
The lower part of the chassis is a box type with the bottom and sides being separate parts.
The transmission and driver's seat are also modeled at the front of the vehicle.
The inspection hatch can be assembled either opened or closed.
The fighting compartment at the rear of the vehicle is recreated with radio equipment and the main character, the Flak38, has each part modeled in minute detail.
The mesh of the shell ejection basket is also reproduced.
In addition to the main body, the circular gun carriage is also reproduced, creating a dense finish to the fighting compartment.
The fighting compartment armor plate can also be assembled with the upper part folded outwards.
The suspension and other parts of the undercarriage are modeled in three dimensions and feature partly one-piece, partly assembled tracks, making it easy to recreate realistic tracks.
