This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Reggiane Re.2002 Ariete, an Italian WWII fighter-bomber.

[About the actual machine]
The Reggiane Re.2002 Ariete is a fighter-bomber developed and deployed by the Italian military during World War II.
Developed by Reggiane in 1941, it was deployed to the Italian Air Force from 1943.
It was developed as a fighter-bomber based on the Re.2000 fighter aircraft, developed by Reggiane.
The engine is a Piaggio P.XIX RC45 radial air-cooled 14-cylinder engine that produces 1,175 horsepower.
The aircraft design, featuring a sleek cowling that covered the engine and a large spinner, demonstrated excellent flight performance.
It is equipped with two 12.7mm machine guns in the nose and two 7.7mm machine guns in the wings.
Additionally, it could carry bombs of up to 500 kg under the fuselage and under the wings.
-In July 1943, he also fought bravely in the mission to intercept the Allied forces that began landing on Sicily.
