[About the actual machine]
Government aircraft are aircraft used by important people such as the Prime Minister when they visit overseas or attend international conferences.
The second generation 777-300ER has been in operation since April 2019, but the first government aircraft was the 747-400, which had been in operation since 1992.
Two 747-400s were introduced in 1991, and the aircraft were deployed to the Defense Agency the following year in 1992.
It was put into operation by the Self-Defense Forces' Special Air Transport Squadron, which was newly formed at Chitose Air Base.
The 747-400 government aircraft made its first mission in 1993 and has since flown more than 300 missions.

[About the model]
This is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces Japan's first government aircraft, based on the Boeing 747-400, in 1/144 scale.
This cutaway model features transparent parts on the aircraft, allowing you to see the cockpit and interior of the passenger compartment even after assembly is complete.
Furthermore, this is an interesting model that allows you to see not only the interior of the aircraft, but also the internal structure of the engine and parts of the main wings.
The parts are pre-painted and the kit is easy to assemble.
The finished overall length is approximately 500mm, giving it a strong presence.
The landing gear can be displayed in either taxiing or flight mode, and a dedicated display stand is included.
