[Actual vehicle guide]
The Taki 1000 series is a tank car that was introduced in 1993 and is capable of running at a maximum speed of 95 km/h. As of December 2021, the number of cars manufactured has exceeded 1,000, and it is currently the mainstay of modern tank cars.
The vehicles owned by Japan Oil Terminal are distinctively painted blue, and are primarily used to transport gasoline from the Kanto region to the Koshinetsu and Tohoku regions.
