──The Ohafu 50 features a large JR mark. This is a commercial version of the Tohoku 50 series passenger car, which was the last to be used in Honshu!

[Product Introduction]
The 50 series passenger cars were introduced in 1977 to replace older passenger cars, and were used as local trains on regional trunk lines.
They are classified into the 50 series 0 series, which is mainly for use in Honshu and does not have electric heating, the 50 series 2000 series, which is equipped with electric heating, and the 50 series 51 series, which is for use in Hokkaido.
The OhaFu 50 was equipped with a conductor's room and took advantage of the freedom to form train configurations unique to passenger cars, and was used in a wide range of operations, from long formations of more than 10 cars to two-car formations.
The product will be the 2000 series equipped with electric heating, in the form after the transition to JR, with the JR mark added to the side of the Ohaf 50 series.

Combine it with the ED78 1st generation JR specification, EF71 1st generation JR specification, and ED75 700 JR specification, which are scheduled for release at the same time, to recreate the red trains of various parts of Tohoku during the early days of the transition to JR.

[Product features]
The 50 series passenger car, nicknamed the "Red Train," is now available as a commercial product in its post-JR form, with the JR mark affixed to the OhaFu 50.
In addition to the JR mark, new car numbers and affiliation notation (Aki Aki) have been added.
The taillights on both sides of the Ohafu 50 are switched on and off depending on the direction of travel. A light-off switch is also included, allowing you to recreate the state of the train being coupled to the middle of the train.
The roof comes standard with an integrated ventilator, but the ventilator can be made into a separate part by using the separately sold 11-551 50 Series Passenger Car Upgrade Parts Set.
The coupler is a bogie-mounted Arnold coupler as standard, but can be changed to a body-mounted coupler with the separately sold telescopic coupler set.
