[Product Introduction]
The ED76 JR Freight test livery was introduced in 1988, shortly after the transition to JR, replacing the previous single-colored Red No. 2 livery with a distinctive new livery of shades of blue with a white stripe. A total of eight locomotives were stationed at Moji Locomotive Depot, and they served mainly freight trains throughout Kyushu, but also hauled passenger trains such as the Blue Train. They particularly attracted attention when they were used to haul the Orient Express '88, which arrived in Japan around the time the livery was introduced. They remained in service until 1992, when all locomotives underwent a general inspection and were repainted in their original single-colored Red No. 2 livery.
- This is the JR Freight ED76 test-painted locomotive, with its vivid shades of blue. It's perfect for recreating freight trains in the Kyushu region, and is also recommended as a locomotive for the 10-561/562 Orient Express '88, which are scheduled for simultaneous reproduction.

[Product features]
This is a product of the late model out of the total eight aircraft that were repainted in JR Freight test paint.
Includes a side inspection cover. The train radio antenna is positioned closer to the passenger seat.
SG chimney and roof with air conditioning plate are reproduced
