Introducing the completely new 1/72 Nord 262 turboprop passenger aircraft from Mach 2.
The Nord 262 is a twin-engine turboprop passenger aircraft developed by the French company Nord Aviation (one of the predecessors of the current Aérospatiale).
This aircraft, which made its first flight in 1962, is based on the MH250, a reciprocating passenger aircraft developed by Max Ostl. It is a 20-seater MH260 that has been redesigned with a turboprop and pressurized system, with the fuselage changed from square to circular, and the engine strengthened.
In the 1960s, Japan Domestic Airlines introduced three aircraft, nicknamed Hayabusa, Shiratori, and Otori, which were operated on local routes until 1968.
The kit includes a Turbomeca engine nacelle, a Pratt & Whitney engine nacelle, and two types of propeller parts.
This injection plastic kit will be approximately 268mm long and 304mm wide when completed.
