[About the actual car]
The M24 Chaffee is a light tank of the US Army that was deployed in 1944 and saw its debut in the Battle of the Bulge at the end of World War II, and continued to be used around the world after the war.
It was the first American tank to use torsion bar suspension, allowing for a low silhouette, and its main gun was a 75mm M6 gun, also mounted on the B-25 bomber, in a rotating turret.
The car was powered by two Cadillac V8 water-cooled gasoline engines, producing a combined 220 horsepower and a top speed of approximately 56 km/h on flat roads.
During World War II, they played a key role in the advance of Germany on the European front.
Furthermore, it was also used by the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force after the war.
