[Product Introduction]
The Oha 35 series is one of the most representative passenger car models of the pre-war Japanese National Railways, and with over 2,000 cars mass-produced, it is the series with the largest number of cars in Japan.
It was introduced in 1938 with a gabled roof, a round roof, 1-meter-wide passenger windows, TR23 bogies, and a structure that made extensive use of welding.
Pre-war production ceased in 1942, but when production resumed after the war, a combination of factors such as difficulty in obtaining materials and advances in construction methods resulted in the emergence of a unique form that can be classified as the "post-war type."
At some point, the TR34 type bogies were adopted, which were improved from the TR23 type plain bearings to domestically produced roller bearings.
They were widely deployed throughout the country and could be seen in action everywhere, from express trains to local trains.
With this model, the roof ventilator has been made into a separate part, allowing you to enjoy upgraded detail.
The standard model will be available in blue, representing the time of modernization work, while the post-war model will be available in brown, representing the time before modernization work.
It is possible to recreate the transitional period seen from the 1960s onwards.
Many locomotives from the JNR era are recommended as traction locomotives, including the 3087-1 ED71 First Model, which will be released at the same time.

[Product features]
The standard model is reminiscent of the old passenger cars, with a sturdy style that makes extensive use of rivets, while the postwar model accurately reproduces the characteristics of the end panels that are described as "mushroom-like, bread-like."
The roof ventilator is represented by a separate part.
Beautifully reproduces the standard paint color of former JNR general passenger cars
The brown color is a wooden door, reminiscent of the original vehicle. The blue color is a metal door with H-shaped rubber, reminiscent of the updated vehicle.
The taillight on the brake and emergency room side of the Ohafu 33 lights up (with a switch to turn it off).
