[Product Introduction]
The EF65 1000 series was introduced in 1969 as a general-purpose DC electric locomotive for flat ground use, designed for multiple-unit control and operation in cold climates.
It has been used to pull a wide range of vehicles in a variety of situations, from passenger operations such as the Blue Train to general freight operations.
You can enjoy the appearance of the car from around 1990, before the H-rubbers on the windows were changed to black, along with the new license plate.
It is recommended as a locomotive for the 10-2219/2220 24 Series 25-type Sleeper Express [Seto/Asakaze], which will be released at the same time, and the 10-561/562 Orient Express '88, which will be released in January 2026.

[Product features]
This is a production of the EF65 1000 series, which was produced around 1990 when a lounge car was installed on the Seto sleeper express train.
H-rubber is gray, reproduced in the form without snowplow.
Adopting a PS22 pantograph, the roof details and bold body are accurately reproduced.
Slotless motor provides smooth and quiet running
Headlights are lit (using incandescent color LED)
Arnold coupler is standard equipment, and a replacement knuckle coupler is included.
Manufacturer's plate [Kawasaki Heavy Industries/Fuji Electric], inspection markings [2-6 Omiya Works], conversion markings, safety device markings, and JR markings are realistically reproduced by printing.
