Product Description
──The E231 series introduced to the Chuo and Sobu lines, after equipment renewal, is reproduced in 1/80 scale with a platform detection device attached to the front
[Actual vehicle guide]
The E231 series, which was introduced on the Chuo and Sobu lines, was introduced in 2000.
The ratio of electric cars is the same as the previously introduced 209-500 series, with a 4M6T formation, and a unique feature of this car is that the 5th car is equipped with a 6-door Saha E230 type car, which helps to alleviate congestion.
The six E231-0 series trains remaining on the Chuo and Sobu lines have been reconfigured and updated to 6M4T configurations, which have a higher ratio of motor cars without 6-door cars, to match the E231-500 series, and are currently in service between Chiba and Mitaka along with the E231-500 series.
