[Actual vehicle guide]
The Taki 43000 series is a 43-ton gasoline-only freight car that first appeared in 1967. In 1989, a 44-ton group was introduced, with the tank body enlarged by reducing the weight of each part, and these were numbered in the 200,000 range.
When they were first introduced, all of the vehicles were owned by Nippon Oil Transportation, but since around 2019, some have been transferred to Nippon Oil Terminal and have been repainted in the standard tank car livery of Blue No. 15.
