The Yamato (1945) comes with a wave base that allows you to realistically express the ship sailing, and is now available with etched parts.

[Structure and specifications]
- It is made up of pre-colored parts, so you can recreate the coloring you imagine without having to paint it.
-It is assembled using a snap-fit method, so it can be assembled without using adhesive.
-Reproduces the appearance of the ship sailing on the ocean -Includes a sea surface base that makes it easy to display the ship in a more realistic manner.
- Etching parts are included, allowing you to express fine details that are difficult to reproduce with injection parts.

[Product Features]
-The product is based on the appearance during Operation Ten-Ichi-Go (Okinawa Special Attack Operation) in April 1945.
・Scale is 1/700.
- Comes with a specially molded plastic display base that three-dimensionally depicts the wake waves generated by the bow, sides, and propellers.

[Hull]
The hull is divided into left and right halves at the waterline. It is molded in a special gray color that mimics the warship colors used at the Kure Naval Arsenal.
- Many of the portholes are blocked off, so special side parts are used, with recessed carvings for the open ones and raised carvings for the closed ones, resulting in a sharply detailed reproduction.
- The external electrical wiring attached to the side of the ship is faithfully reproduced, even down to the fastening points.

[Weaponry]
- The main gun can be elevated and rotated. Realizes both a minimum number of parts and realistic modeling.
- The 46cm main barrel is open using a slide mold.
- In order to recreate the additional machine gun turrets on the No. 2 and No. 3 main gun canopies, special parts are provided for both the main gun canopy and the machine gun turrets.
- The secondary gun is rotatable and the barrel and turret are one-piece structure.

[bridge]
- The bridge is made using a split/slide mold to minimize the joints between parts and integrate the parts.
- The No. 22 radar on both sides of the bridge is a special item that reproduces its relocated appearance.
- The 15-meter rangefinder and compass are designed to be rotatable.
- Special parts are provided to recreate the additional troop waiting area and expanded signal station deck behind the bridge.

[Chimney/Mast]
- The chimney is a left-right combination type, and everything from the steam exhaust pipe, whistle pipe, and monkey ladder are reproduced as a single unit.
- The top cap (lattice) is removed, creating a very realistic design with a sense of depth.
- The mast is a two-piece structure and is designed to integrate the No. 13 radar that was installed at this time.

[Chip-based aircraft]
- Two aircraft types are included with special dark green color parts.
- One Zero (three-seat) seaplane reconnaissance aircraft and one Zero observation aircraft.
- The panel lines are recessed, and the propeller is integrated with the fuselage using a slide mold, resulting in precise expression.

[Exhibition sea surface base]
- This is a special molded plastic part made to fit the Yamato-class waterline shape. (Mold/Made in 2025)
- The external dimensions are length 396 x width 134 x height (approx.) 17 mm, and the molding color is clear blue.
-Reproduces the waves spreading from the bow to the side of the ship, the subdued sea surface on the side of the ship, and the sea surface shapes created by the propellers.
- The cross section of the ship at the waterline is compatible with the Yamato-class special series as well as the Ship NEXT series.
- Three 1mm thick paper spacers are included to increase the height of the bow.

[Included sticker]
- Comes with pre-cut stickers that have excellent adhesion properties, making it easy to paint the details.
- Includes waterproof canvas for the main and secondary guns, a walkway behind the No. 3 main gun, the naval ensign, and the Hinomaru markings for aircraft carriers.
- Also included are the flag of Irrational Law and Power, the chrysanthemum mark next to the chimney, and the flag of the last commander in chief, Lieutenant General Ito Seiichi.

[Bonus Parts]
- Bonus adhesive parts are included for users who want a more precise feel.
- Bonus parts include 78 machine gun ammunition boxes, a mast support, and an antenna support on the secondary gun canopy.

[Etching parts]
- Two brass photo-etched parts are included to enhance the accuracy of your model. They allow you to recreate the difficult-to-find details on the hull.
- Etching size: 1st piece: (approx.) 62 x 180 mm, 2nd piece: (approx.) 53 x 180 mm, both thickness approx. 0.1 mm.
- Etched parts include handrails, ladders, cranes, chimneys, No. 13 radar, No. 21 radar, compass, watertight door, and the chrysanthemum crest.

The box art is an original illustration by illustrator Takeshi Kurokawa, depicting the Yamato sailing at high speed under clear skies, splashing about on the waves.

- Molded parts are available in seven colors (Kure Naval Arsenal color, ship bottom color, black, dark gray, gold, dark green, and clear blue).
