[About the actual car]
The German Panzer IV was one of the main battle tanks used throughout World War II.
It was highly trusted among soldiers and was affectionately known as the German war horse.
The Panzer IV was deployed early in the war, but as the war progressed, its armament and armor were strengthened, making the most of the ample space it had originally been designed for, and it continued to evolve.
Of the many variations of the Panzer IV, the Ausf. H was the most produced and is said to be the most complete Panzer IV.
Nearly 4,000 H-type vehicles were produced between April 1943 and July 1944.
The main gun is equipped with a 48 caliber 75mm gun KwK40.
It came standard with additional armor plates, called Schurzen, fitted around the turret and on the sides of the hull.
In the later production models, modifications were made to improve production efficiency, such as the use of cast idler wheels and the use of all-metal upper rollers.
On the front lines, they continued to fight bravely as the mainstay of German tank forces, alongside the Panther tank, until the end of the war.
