[About the actual car]
The Panzer IV, known as the German warhorse and the mainstay of German tank forces from the early stages of the war until its end, had an excellent basic design from the start, and various variation models were produced based on it.
As the war progressed, German ground forces gradually lost air superiority and were exposed to Allied air attacks, so they developed various anti-aircraft weapons.
One of the vehicles that was produced was the Panzer IV Wirbelwind, named after the German "Whirlwind" (or "whirlwind").
The vehicle body was made from the body of a Panzer IV tank, with 18 armor plates welded together to form a nine-sided open-top rotating turret, equipped with a quadruple 20mm anti-aircraft cannon that was feared by the Allied forces as an anti-aircraft gun.
After completion in 1944, it was deployed to tank regiments, and when they operated together, it demonstrated its power against the approaching Yabo.
It is said that more than 100 cars were made by the end of the war.

[About the model]
This is a 1/35 scale plastic assembly kit of the Wirbelwind, an anti-aircraft self-propelled gun deployed and operated by the German army during World War II.
This kit recreates a type based on the Panzer IV Ausf.G.
The kit includes parts for both the tank body and the non-coated version, both coated with Zimmerit Coating, a special coating that the German military began using on tanks and other vehicles in 1943 to protect them from magnetic mines. You can choose which version to assemble.
・Of course, the hull shape of the Panzer IV Ausf.G is reproduced in minute detail, including the bolts on the hull and the suspension, all of which are mechanically reproduced.
- The chassis features assembly-type magic tracks, and the highly detailed road wheel parts give the model a refined finish.
- Not only does the open-top turret on top of the vehicle have a distinctive shape, but details such as the welding marks on the armor plates are also faithfully reproduced. Furthermore, the thickness (or thinness) of the armor plates, which is unique to Dragon, is also expressed, further enhancing the realism.
- The anti-aircraft gun mounted inside the turret is a masterpiece, the 2cm quadruple anti-aircraft gun Flak38.
