The Messerschmitt Me-232 Gigant was a large transport aircraft developed and operated by the German military during World War II.
Initially planned as an aircraft for Operation Sea Lion, the planned invasion of mainland Britain at the start of the war, it was later used in Operation Barbarossa on the Eastern Front, where it demonstrated its capabilities.
The aircraft's structure is based on a steel tube space frame, combined with wooden girders and covered in fabric.
Its maximum load capacity was said to be between 10 and 20 tons, and it could accommodate about 120 soldiers at once.
The car is equipped with six Gnome Rhone 14N 14-cylinder air-cooled radial engines.
It made its maiden flight in 1942 and began operations in 1943.
It was in service until 1944, and it is said that nearly 200 units were produced.
