Product Description

Introducing the new 1/144 scale AN/APS-154 (AAS) pod for the P-8A Poseidon from Ukrainian Big Plane Kits.
The AN/APS-154 (AAS) (Advanced Airborne Sensor) is a next-generation maritime surveillance and reconnaissance radar that will replace the APS-149 LSRS (Coastal Surveillance Radar System) currently installed on some P-3C aircraft. It will provide military commanders with highly accurate information about the battlefield.
This under-fuselage pod-mounted system consists of a bifacial active electronically scanned array radar, a synthetic aperture radar, and an inverse synthetic aperture radar, providing the ability to monitor, identify, and track multiple targets in all weather conditions with photographic radar data.
It is also said to be capable of tracking submarines while submerged.
