The wave series includes an ocean surface stage that allows you to easily and realistically create a sailing appearance once completed!

[Basic specifications]
- It is made up of pre-colored parts, so you can recreate the coloring you imagine without having to paint it.
-It is assembled using a snap-fit method, so it can be assembled without using adhesive.
-Reproduces the appearance of the ship sailing on the ocean -Includes a sea surface base that makes it easy to display the ship in a more realistic manner.

・The Nagato in the product is modeled after its appearance in October 1944 (Operation Sho-Ichi-Go/Battle of Leyte Gulf).
→Compared to the time of the outbreak of war, the ship was equipped with radar, had its anti-aircraft armament strengthened, and its portholes blocked.
- The sea surface for the scenery is a plastic base that can be painted to match the shape of the Nagato-class battleship.
→The wake shape is a three-dimensional reproduction of the wave pattern of a ship traveling straight ahead at high speed.

[Structure, specifications, features]
- Hull
- The hull is divided into left and right sections, with the bottom separated at the waterline
-Molded in a special gray color that mimics the warship colors used at the Kure Naval Arsenal
- Many of the portholes are specially shaped and blocked off.
→Unclosed windows are carved in recesses, while closed windows are carved in raised sections to recreate the differences.
- The outer electrical wiring on the side of the ship is reproduced in detail, including the fastening parts.

- Weaponry
- The main gun can be elevated and rotated.
→Minimizing the number of parts while creating a realistic design
→ The muzzle of the 40cm main gun barrel is made to look open using a slide mold.
→ Use the included seal for waterproof canvas
・The No. 2 and No. 3 main gun canopies are reproduced with additional machine gun mounts, and special parts are provided.
- The secondary gun is a one-piece structure with the casemate and barrel integrated
・The 25mm machine gun is a one-piece structure and is molded in gray.

- Bridge
The bridge is made up of parts that are assembled by layering, and each layer is reproduced without omitting anything.
- Appearance in the latter stages of the war equipped with No. 21 and No. 22 radars
- The wooden deck of the lower bridge deck is reproduced in different colors thanks to its divided design.

- Chimney/Mast
- The chimney is a left-right combination type, and the steam exhaust pipe and whistle pipe are integrated.
The top cap (lattice) is removed for a very realistic look with a sense of depth.
・The mast is divided into a support, cross tree and yard, making it easy to assemble and reproducing the shape.

- Aviation equipment and carrier-based aircraft
・A Zero-type observation aircraft is included as a carrier-based aircraft.
- Parts colored in dark green plastic
- The panel lines are recessed, and the propeller is integrated with the fuselage using a slide mold for precise expression.

- Wooden deck
- The wooden deck is a wood-like beige color, and the color tone is expressed in parts.
- Delicate recessed engraving expresses the arrangement of plates, with recessed depth suitable for shading
- Deck equipment (warship color) such as air intakes are made into separate parts to reproduce color differences.

- Bonus parts
- Comes with adhesive parts for a more detailed finish
- Includes single machine gun and bulletproof sandbag parts
- Includes air intakes lined up on the wooden deck, auxiliary floats for the seaplane, a binocular telescope on the bridge, and a Type 2 signal tram.

- Sea surface display base
- Special mold parts made of plastic to fit the Nagato-class waterline shape (mold/made in 2026)
- The shape of the waterline corresponds to the Nagato type of the Ship NEXT series and special series.
・External dimensions are length 396 x width 134 x height (approx.) 17mm, molding color is clear blue
-Reproduces the waves spreading from the bow to the side, the subdued sea surface on the side, and the sea surface shapes generated by the propeller.
- There are multiple through holes on the bottom of the ship along the stem line to allow for fixing work.

- Two stickers are included for recreating detailed coloring.
- Comes with pre-cut stickers that can be easily applied

→ Includes waterproof canvas for main guns and naval boats, wooden surfaces of emergency rudders, and the surface of aircraft carriers.
- Nationality marking stickers for the seaplane are included, and the warning signs on the leading edge of the wing can be cut to the required length and pasted on.

The box art is by Mikiya Yoshihara and depicts the group gathering in Brunei Bay just before Operation Sho-Ichi-Go.
