──The EF62 type from the JNR era, which was used for direct access to Usui Pass, is reproduced in 1/80 scale with prestige specifications that do not require parts installation.

[Actual vehicle introduction]
The EF62 electric locomotive was introduced in 1963 as a main locomotive capable of running through the Usui Pass on the Shinetsu Main Line, and was coupled with the auxiliary EF63 locomotive on the pass section.
- The second model has a roof-mounted lightning arrester located in the center of the car body, and side louvers with finer mesh.

[Product Features]
・1/80 scale 16.5mm gauge model, prestige model with metal handrails, signal flares, etc.
- The second-generation model with fine-meshed side louvers is reproduced on a vehicle that belonged to the Shinonoi Locomotive Depot during the JNR era.
・The roof monitor and handrail under the front window, characteristic of the Shinonoi-affiliated vehicles, are blue, and the whistle is raised.
- Metal pantographs and signal flares are used
・The ward name tag is printed with [Shino]
- Car number is selectable and includes a metal transfer sheet
- Simple license plate included
・Headlights are lit with incandescent LEDs
- Equipped with a power terminal for maintenance inside the rooftop monitor
- Equipped with a motor with a flywheel
・The EF62 type locomotive features a three-axle bogie with all three axles driven.
- Minimum radius R600 can be passed (excluding S-shaped lines)
