Product Description
--The 3000 series, the first VVVF inverter-controlled train on the Kobe Municipal Subway Seishin-Yamate Line, will be released as a model in the Railway Collection series!
The Kobe Municipal Subway's Seishin-Yamate Line is a 30.2km subway line connecting Seishin-Chuo Station to Tanigami Station on the Hokushin Line, via Shin-Kobe Station.
Although it is a subway, some sections of the line run above ground.
The Kobe Municipal Transportation Bureau's 3000 series consists of six 6-car train sets that were manufactured starting in 1993.
The Kobe Municipal Subway was the first to adopt VVVF inverter control.
The front features a large, curved glass panel, and its rounded front shape is a distinctive feature that sets it apart from conventional vehicles.
These trains operated alongside the older 1000 and 2000 series trains, but were gradually replaced by the 6000 series trains introduced in 2019. The 3128 series train was retired in July 2021 when it ceased operation.
This product comes as a 3-car set, with the car numbers selectable via stickers. By using two sets, you can recreate a 6-car train just like the real thing.
*When recreating the 6-car train, some parts may differ from the actual train.
By using a separately sold power unit and N-gauge running parts, it can be operated as an N-gauge model train.
The recommended power unit is TM-12R (19m class A), the running gear set is TT-04R, and the pantograph is PT4811N <0258>. *Display stand is not included.
1/150 scale N gauge size, pre-painted and assembled, open package.
Target age: 15 years and older
