[About the actual vehicle]
The German self-propelled howitzer, the Panzerhaubitze 2000 (PzH2000), was developed starting in 1987 and deployed from 1998.
The main armament consists of Rheinmetall's 155mm L52 gun with a barrel length exceeding 8 meters.
In addition to an advanced, electrically operated automatic loading system, multiple sensors and a computer mounted in the turret control everything from selecting the appropriate ammunition to loading it.
The chassis, which uses some components from the Leopard tank, is equipped with an MTU MT881V-type 8-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine at the front.
It delivers exceptional maneuverability in conjunction with the torsion bar suspension.
It has been adopted and is in operation not only in Germany, but also in Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, and other countries.

This is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Panzerhaubitze 2000 and PzH2000, self-propelled howitzers developed by Germany and used in various countries around the world.
The scale is 1/72. It consists of 113 parts, and the finished product, including the gun barrel, is 163mm long and 50mm wide.
- It realistically reproduces the appearance of the tank equipped with a long gun barrel.
Even in 1/72 scale, its distinctive style is incredibly impressive.
- Not only the vehicle's shape, but also the details of the on-board machine guns and various parts of the vehicle are delicately reproduced.
- The markings included in this kit are for German Army vehicles.
