We are pleased to announce a new full resin kit from Triumph Models China: 1/350 Japanese Navy Destroyer Matsu 'Transport Mission to Iwo Jima in 1944'.
The kit includes resin hull parts, 3D-printed parts, metal wire, and decals.

Matsu was the lead ship of the Matsu-class first-class destroyers of the Imperial Japanese Navy.
Construction of this ship began at the Maizuru Naval Arsenal in August 1943 and was completed in April 1944. After its completion, it was engaged in escort duties to the Ogasawara Islands and Iwo Jima.
On August 4 of the same year, while escorting a convoy in the Ogasawara area, it engaged in combat with and was sunk by surface vessels (cruisers and destroyers) of the US task force.
Its service life was approximately three months after its completion.
