Product Description

This is a set of four figures depicting German prisoners of war in 1945, towards the end of World War II, carrying a wounded comrade on a stretcher made of blankets.
The model depicts four figures: a wounded soldier being carried wrapped in a blanket, a soldier wearing a standard cap and overcoat with a large backpack, a soldier wearing a paratrooper helmet and parachute smock with his injured left arm in a sling, and a civilian wearing a work cap and coat.
Based on photographs of prisoners of war and refugees immediately after the end of the war, the military uniforms and equipment from 1945 have been accurately reproduced.
