This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit of the 38(t) Hetzer tank destroyer, which was developed and deployed by the German army during World War II.

[About the actual vehicle]
During World War II, in 1943, the Sturmgeschütz III production plant was damaged by Allied air raids, making production impossible. As a result, the Czech company BMM was ordered to take over production.
However, the production facilities were unable to accommodate the size of the Sturmgeschütz III, so it was decided to develop an assault gun using components from the 38(t) tank instead, resulting in the creation of the Hetzer.
Developed using many parts from the 38(t) tank, the Hetzer featured a small hull with a fixed fighting compartment covered in sloped armor.
It was equipped with a powerful 7.5cm Pak 39 anti-tank gun as its main armament.
Mass production began in 1944, and deployment to tank destroyer battalions and other units started in July. More than 2,800 units were produced by the end of the war.
Furthermore, variations based on this vehicle, such as self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, were also created and saw action on various fronts.
