The M113 armored personnel carrier is a tracked armored personnel carrier developed in the United States.
This vehicle has numerous modified and derivative versions, and including all derivatives, more than 80,000 units were manufactured, making it one of the most widely used armored personnel carriers in the world.
The Israel Defense Forces are the second largest user of the M113 series after the United States, and one of the common external features of the Israeli military's M113 series is the addition of racks around the hull.
