[About the actual vehicle]
The 200 series Shinkansen, which debuted in 1980, underwent refurbishment work to extend its lifespan starting in 1999, after exceeding its service life.
The K-series trains, which were operated in 10-car formations, were modified primarily to improve the interior accommodations so that they could provide the same level of service as the latest Shinkansen trains. This included replacing the electronic equipment with the latest models and refining the shape of the driver's cab to improve aerodynamics.
This time, Endo will be manufacturing this refurbished 200 series Shinkansen train from scratch.
*Due to the limitations of the vehicle body, even vehicles with the standard paint scheme will be in the K47 formation specifications.

The front part is made using the lost-wax casting method.
The car body is made of brass using a pressing process.
