[Product overview]
The Odakyu 8000 series is a 20-meter, four-door train manufactured between 1982 and 1987 as a general-purpose train for use on the Odakyu Line's above-ground sections. It is a versatile train that can be used for everything from local trains to rapid express trains.
Renovation work was carried out from 2002 to 2013, which included converting the destination indicators to full-color LEDs, removing the front passing indicator lights, changing the shape of the side destination indicators, and converting the side lights and taillights to LEDs.

The Odakyu 8000 series, which has undergone mold renewal, will be produced as a model based on the specifications of the un-updated version.

Vehicle number and OER mark are selectable from the included vehicle markings.
Front and side destination displays, priority seating (body and windows), car number displays, and weakly air-conditioned cars are selectable from included stickers (newly produced).
The train radio antenna, fuse box, front gangway, and handrails are user-installed.
Headlights (incandescent color), taillights, and front destination/type indicator (white) illuminate.
Equipped with a coreless motor power unit with flywheel (No. 32264, 32265)
Long seat parts with end caps are implemented.
