Product Description

I have created a model of the Shim 1 cars, which were used as buffer cars during the transport of Shinkansen bullet trains.
Shim 1-10 were used from 1920 to 1976 as support cars for Shinkansen Class A transport, as well as for Class B transport of small vehicles.
The product replicates the low-floor structure, beams, and rivets, and is sold as a single unit to enable Class B transport.
The bogie is a resin TR41, which is attached to the car body with screws.
For Shinkansen Class A transport, it also comes with dummy weights and coupling devices.
We also offer decals and temporary bogies for each Shinkansen model separately.
