The FAZER series, known for its ease of use—simply take it out of the package, install the charged battery in the car body, and insert dry batteries into the transmitter to start driving—now welcomes the long-awaited RWD drift model, the FAZER D2! Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is currently the most popular drive system for 1/10 scale drift R/C cars, and its ability to drift with large counter-steer turns, just like a real car, has garnered immense popularity. The FAZER D2 employs a drift-specific RWD chassis that is completely different from the conventional FAZER series, with weight distribution and suspension design optimized for drifting. It also features a receiver with a built-in gyro unit that automatically performs counter-steer operations in response to the car's slide. Notably, this gyro controls not only the steering but also the throttle, providing perfect support even for those with no prior experience driving drift R/C cars. Of course, the chassis also incorporates the latest trends in modern drift R/C cars, such as long-span suspension arms and high-mount motors, to ensure comfortable drifting, while also considering ease of handling and setting. Even though it's a pre-assembled ready-to-run set, you can enjoy setting up and tuning it up like a real R/C car by changing parts. The body, which is essential for enhancing the drift driving atmosphere, is made with Kyosho's proud ultra-scale body, and it also features a wheelbase adjustment function that allows for the mounting of a variety of bodies. Traditionally, 1/10 scale drift cars had a strong image of being for users with a certain level of experience, but with the arrival of the pre-assembled ready-to-run set FAZER D2, they have suddenly become much more accessible.


What is [ULTRA SCALE BODY PLUS]?

The [ULTRA SCALE BODY], which faithfully reproduces the body, light buckets, bumpers, and mirrors, and is a "moving display model" that has been meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail of the car's form, has been taken to the next level of scale with the [ULTRA SCALE BODY PLUS], which does not involve drilling holes in the polycarbonate body.

- This ready-to-use set allows for immediate drift driving by simply preparing batteries for the transmitter and a battery and charger for the vehicle.
- The body has been customized with original aero parts that evoke the drift scene.
- The "Ultra Scale Body Plus" specification body uses plastic parts that achieve intricate details, including a light bucket that can accommodate LEDs.
- The newly designed two-piece wheels allow for adjustable offsets of 5/7/9mm. The wheel design is based on the "Turbomac" from "fifteen52".
- The chassis has a variable wheelbase and can accommodate most bodies from the FAZER series.
- The use of a stealth body mount improves the sense of scale because the body posts are not visible from the outside. A pin-type body mount that is compatible with conventional FAZER series models is also included.
- The tires are made of PP (polypropylene) and are suitable for various road surfaces. *May need to be changed if specified by the circuit.
- Features the KS4072-06W servo, ideal for drifting. The motor is the easy-to-handle G22 brushed motor, suitable even for beginners.
- Equipped with a gear cover as standard, it can handle driving on gravel-filled areas such as parking lots. It also helps prevent injuries by concealing the rotating parts.
- The battery can accommodate most batteries on the market, from short LiPos to straight packs. *LCG type requires a separate spacer (a 5-6mm thick sponge sheet will suffice).
- The KRG-331D integrates the gyro and receiver. It features both steering gain and throttle gain to support beginner drivers.
- The motor mount has mounting holes that position the backlash optimally, eliminating the need for adjustment when removing and reinstalling it for maintenance. Fine adjustments can be made using the elongated holes when changing the gear ratio.
- Standard equipment includes oil dampers. The piston, spring, and oil are specially tuned for drifting to support drift driving. An additional piston for tuning is also included.
- By changing the orientation of the suspension holders, etc., the caster angle, Ackermann angle, and roll center can be changed.
- By default, the integrated rod design allows for optimal settings of front toe-in and rear camber angles. Only the front camber can be adjusted by changing the color.
- After purchase, you can enjoy upgrading with various optional parts such as carbon chassis and aluminum damper stays.
