[Product Introduction]
The 0 Series Shinkansen was produced in succession from 1964, when the Tokaido Shinkansen opened, until 1986, with minor modifications being made along the way.
Newly manufactured cars from 1981 onwards were the final version, the 2000 series, with a total of 309 units produced.
The 2000 series was a group based on the 1000 series, which had smaller side passenger windows and wider seat pitch. After the transition to JR, all of these cars were inherited by JR Central/JR West and were retired in 2008.
KATO's long-selling 0 Series Shinkansen will be released as a 4-car set that can be easily enjoyed by beginners and overseas users alike.
This is recommended for those who are just starting out with N gauge model trains.

[Product features]
This model recreates the distinctive "dumpling nose" of the 0 Series Shinkansen, which was active on the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines.
To make it easy for beginners to enjoy, it will only be released as a 4-car set (there are no add-on sets available).
Headlights and taillights illuminate (using warm white LEDs). The lights inside each of the left and right headlights also illuminate with two lights, one above the other, recreating the original design.
All vehicles feature wheels that represent disc brakes.
Arnold couplers are standard equipment.
The hood cover, the silver trim around the headlights, and the car number are printed. The car number and non-smoking car mark are not printed.
