Product Description

--The Nankai Electric Railway 1000 series, currently in service on the Nankai Main Line, will be released as a set of 6-car and 2-car models!!

Nankai Electric Railway is a railway company that connects Namba to Wakayama, Koyasan, and Kansai International Airport.
Founded in December 1885, it is the oldest private railway company in Japan.
The 1000 series train was designed as a next-generation standard vehicle that could be used interchangeably on both the Nankai Main Line and the Koya Line, and 76 units were manufactured starting in 1992.
From the second batch of trains onward, the car body width was increased to 2850 mm to accommodate the changes in vehicle clearance required for the opening of the Nankai Airport Line.
The product will reproduce the 6-car 1006 series train.
On the Nankai Airport Line, you'll encounter JR West's 281 series "Haruka" limited express and 225 series Kansai Airport Rapid trains, among others.
