[Vehicle Guide]
The KiHa 82 series is a limited express diesel railcar that appeared in 1961 to establish a nationwide limited express network. Its front shape, designed with splitting and merging in mind, was completed with panoramic windows and light cases.
- The KiHa 82 series, which was mainly used on non-electrified lines throughout Japan except for Shikoku, was also known as the "Queen" and played an active role.
