Hi! This is Kapinotsuka! I visited the 10th JAM (Japan Association Modelrailroaders) convention the other day. Among many manufacturers, I'd like to pick up this one!  JNR Series 183 1000 (1/80, 16.5mm, Japanese HO Scale) Oh, kind of nostalgic feeling... Series 183 in JNR-express color! Speaking of L-express train, yes, this color is the standard.  I think it's quite difficult to model the rounded "face". It's not the case that you can only scale down the original, but you have to make necessary adjustment, taking delicate balance. Aclass utilizes the "CAD" technology in order to model this train. Here are some pictures, which were taken at Japan Model Train Show last year.  This is MoHa 182's pantograph. Pantograph is "life line" for trains, without which trains can never run! We tend to pay attention to pantograph itself, but we should appreciate the details surrounding pantograph.  The under side of the motor car. Using die-cast and plastic, it gains beauty, weight, and stability. We can expect great running stability. By the way, the unique thing about Aclass's 183-1000 is its applicability. Look at the picture below.  With extra parts set, you can have a "Series 183-1000 Late Model" or "Series 189"! You can turn on the headlight for a few minutes after the train stops. Generally, a model train gains its electric current for headlight from running electricity, but this model uses the "Super Capacitor" technology to gain the electric current.
