Product Description

── 185 series to retire, limited color lineup

[Real car guide]
-Series 185 is a DC limited express vehicle that began operation in 1981. The 200's appeared as a replacement for the 165 series of the Joetsu-Takasaki Line, and appeared in a 7-car train with the appearance of Cream No. 10 with a green No. 14 belt. In line with the opening of Omiya on the Tohoku / Joetsu Shinkansen, it was operated between Ueno and Omiya in the form of a 14-car train mainly as a Shinkansen relay. After that, he worked as a new limited express for [Tanikawa] [Kusatsu] [Akagi] [Shirane].
-The 185 series OM08 was used from 2012 to 2015, with the painting changed to the national railway express color reminiscent of the 157 series.
