Product Description

-Underwater drainage 2060 tons
-Diesel/motor 17 knots on water 7 knots on water.

-Two machine guns.
-A large submarine completed in 1935.
-Also known as the Pietro Calvi type.

-After the outbreak of the war, Pietro Garvi performed operational actions in the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, and sank 6 ships in total.
-July 15, 1942, sunk by the attack of British Sloop [Lulworth] off the coast of Azores.

-Giuseppe Finch sank five ships in the action.
-Converted to a transport submarine in 1943.
-Germany was requisitioned in Bordeaux at the time of Italian surrender and renamed UIT-21.
-Self-sinking in Bordeaux in 1944.
