--The Seibu New 2000 series is a vehicle that appeared in 1988 as an additional 2000 series vehicle.
――The appearance has been redesigned from the 2000 series that has been introduced so far, and it has become a representative form of Seibu commuter cars that form a large group of 314 cars.
――We have formed a variety of formations with 2 cars, 4 cars, 6 cars, and 8 cars, and are active on the Shinjuku line and Ikebukuro line.
――In recent years, some of the formations have been renewed, such as closing the door pocket window, removing part of the ventilator, replacing it with a single arm pantograph, and changing the destination display to full-color LED.
