- Hoki 800 type is a freight car that appeared in 1958 and is used for ballast spraying.
- 1066 cars were manufactured by 1974, but the truck manufactured in 1974 was changed to TR225 type.
- The Hoki 800 type enrolled in JR East is scheduled to be replaced by the introduction of the GV-E197 series.
