Product Description

- The Zelbu Air Sedan is a multiplane aircraft developed by James Zelbu, a professor at the University of California.
- Construction began in 1919, completed in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and first flew in 1921.
- It is said that after flying about 300m at an altitude of about 30m during the first flight, the aircraft was damaged by the impact during landing and never flew again (there are various theories).
- The air sedan was a bus-like fuselage with four wings and no tail or ailerons.
- The engine is believed to have been a used old French fighter Le Rhone 9J.
