Product Description

- We will be re-releasing the ED40 type, the first domestically produced electric locomotive, as a finished product. 14 units were manufactured at the Railway Bureau Omiya Factory from 1919 onwards as locomotives for the Abt section of the Shinetsu Main Line between Yokokawa and Karuizawa (Usui Pass).
- This time, a coreless motor is used for the power source, and in addition to the specifications from the JNR era, we will also produce and release a version with a buffer and grape No. 1 paint scheme in the style from the era when it was called the old model [10020 type].
