Product Description

─ 2-car formation on the Nagao Line that supports one-man operation and 4-car formation seen on the Kotohira Line during rush hours etc.

- The Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railway Type 1200 was inherited from the Keikyu Railway Type 700 in 2003, and after changing the control equipment and number of motors, and adding a new wheelchair space, it was introduced on the Kotohira Line.
- This is also the first time that Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railway has introduced four-door vehicles.
- Also, in June 2006, the Yoshida River bridge on the Nagao Line was replaced and the curve was improved, making it possible for large 18m class vehicles to enter the line, and the 1200 type was also introduced on the Nagao Line.
