- Asa Kaigan Railway is a railway and bus operator that connects Kaiyo Town, Tokushima Prefecture and Toyo Town, Kochi Prefecture (lower right of Shikoku).
- DМV (Dual Mode Vehicle) is a special vehicle that can drive on tracks and roads by changing modes, and on December 25, 2021, the world's first full-scale commercial operation began on Asa Kaigan Railway.
- It is attracting attention both domestically and internationally as a new way of promoting tourism and regional revitalization that takes advantage of the characteristics of DMV, as well as supporting disaster victims in the event of a disaster.
