──An assortment set inspired by the Sky Blue Series 70 that ran on the Yokosuka Line

- The JNR Series 70 is a three-door semi-cross-seat train developed for use on routes that combine commuter and medium-distance transport, such as the Yokosuka Line, Keihanshin Local Lines, and Chuo East Line.
- Between 1951 and 1958, the control car KuHa 76, intermediate motor cars MoHa 70 and 71, and second-class car Salo 46 were manufactured.
- The KuMoHa 53 series (formerly the MoHa 53 series) is a power-enhanced car in which the electric motor of the MoHa 43 series was replaced with a more powerful one.
- In addition to being incorporated into 70 series trains, they were also sometimes used in a two-car configuration with KuHa 76 on the off-peak hours between Yokosuka and Kurihama.
