[Actual vehicle guide]
- The Tarumi Railway TDE10 series is a diesel locomotive that was introduced when the railway opened in 1984. At the time of the opening, the line had three cars: the newly manufactured No. 1 locomotive, and the No. 2 and No. 3 locomotives acquired from the Kinuura Rinkai Railway.
- Originally, the livery was similar to the JNR colors, but later, the No. 1 unit had a V-shaped white line added to the front and the side of the cab, and the No. 2 unit was repainted in blue and yellow for towing the Usuzumi Fantasia.
- Together with the No. 5 and TDE11 No. 3, which were added later, they continued to operate until the complete abolition of freight trains in 2006.
