Product Description

──The unsung hero Kumoya 145

- The Kumoya 145 series is a direct current section traction vehicle that was created in 1980, during the Japan National Railways era, as a modified 101 series electric train, with the aim of replacing traction vehicles and rescue vehicles that had been modified from older models.
- They were mainly used for shunting within the depot, towing trains to and from factories, and for emergency rescue, but have all been scrapped within the JR East jurisdiction.
- Kumoya 145 series No. 118 is retained for education and training at the JR East Hachioji General Training Center, and is characterized by a yellow stripe on the side of the car and the inscription [HACHIOJI Training Center].
