[Product Features]
- After 1993, the bogies and underfloor equipment were turned gray, the JR markings on the sides were made smaller, and the front through-holes were permanently installed.
- Kuro 381-0 reproduces the side door close to the driver's cab, the single through door at the front, and the characteristic through front hood, which are unique to intermediate modified cars.
- The basic set Kuha 381-12 reproduces the early car with one front window wiper
- The intermediate coupling section uses a body-mounted close-coupled coupler without a hook. The front section is equipped with a dummy coupler, and a coupling coupler skirt is included.
- The skylights in the washrooms are white only on the KuHa 381, while the others are transparent.
