Product Description
──The first freight train of the new performance electric train! The JNR Kumoni 143 series will be produced in an open package!
The KuMoNi 143 series is a freight train that appeared between 1978 and 1982.
It was the first freight train to be manufactured as a new performance electric train.
They were originally manufactured for the Shinetsu Main Line, and were later added to the Hakubi Line.
The Shinetsu Main Line cars were later transferred to Ogaki Electric Railway Depot and Nagaoka Depot to replace older cars.
Although their role as freight cars ended with the timetable change in 1986, they were converted into 123 series passenger cars for business use and local lines, taking advantage of the characteristics of the new electric railcars that allow single-car operation.
This time we will be producing the KuMoNi 143 type, which was used as a freight train.
By using a separately sold power unit and N gauge running parts, it can be run as an N gauge model train.
We recommend the TM-14 (20m class A2) power unit, TT-03R running parts set, and PS23 <0229> pantograph.
