--The additional 20000 series cars will be produced to current specifications with improvements to the front and interior.

The Sotetsu 20000 series is a new type of train that was introduced in February 2018 and is the first to reflect the concept of the Design Brand Up Project.
It received the Good Design Award in the same year, and the Laurel Award from the Japan Railway Friendship Association in 2019.
