Product Description
Ukraine's Clear Prop! is pleased to present a completely new 1/35 Tupolev Tu-143 Race injection kit.
The Tu-143 is an unmanned tactical reconnaissance aircraft that first flew in 1970 and has a top speed of 950 km/h and a range of 200 km.
Upon takeoff, the aircraft was launched using a booster rocket from a dedicated trailer, and after the booster rocket was detached, it switched to a jet engine for flight. Upon reaching its destination, it was photographed with a film camera mounted on the underside of the nose (later a television camera was installed, and the footage was broadcast to the base in real time via data link). On the way back, the camera was dropped by parachute above the base, and the Tu-143 itself also deployed its parachute and fell to the ground, where it was recovered.
This kit can be assembled in three different configurations: the launch state when using the booster rocket (display stand included), the state on the mobile dolly for transportation, or the state with the main landing pad deployed for return.
A film or TV camera inside the nose is reproduced, and you can also remove the nose to show the plane undergoing maintenance.
The kit comes with several decals.
When completed, the total length will be approximately 230mm and the total width approximately 65mm.
