--The peak of the steam locomotive boom was reached with the express train [Niseko], which ran powerfully through the `Mountain Line`. It has been a long time since the last reproduction, along with the two C62s!

[Product Introduction]
- In the late 1960s, the train that reached the peak of the steam locomotive boom was the express train [Niseko] connecting Hakodate and Sapporo. The express train [Niseko], called [Yon Santo], which appeared in the nationwide timetable revision in October 1968, ran on the Hakodate Main Line from Hakodate to Otaru, Sapporo, and Asahikawa via Oshamanbe, and supported the large flow of people and the logistics of mail and small parcels between Honshu and Hokkaido via the Seikan Ferry. In particular, on the Hakodate Main Line between Otaru and Oshamanbe, commonly known as the `Yama Line', the sight of a large steam locomotive C62 running in a double-headed configuration with a helper engine attached to the front is legendary as the peak of the steam locomotive boom.
After the farewell triple-unit C62 on September 15, 1971, the train was replaced by multiple-unit DD51 locomotives.

The Oyu 10, which is connected to the upbound train, is a non-air-conditioned car. It has a deep round roof without an air conditioner.
The baggage car Mani 36 that is connected to the down train reproduces the round roof specification based on the Suha 32 series.
The baggage car Mani 60 reproduces the specifications based on the Ohani 61
The Suyu 13 and Slo 62 models feature a separate part for the roof ventilator.
The set case is a 7-car type for both the basic and add-on sets. Each can store one locomotive.
