Product Description

- The Kintetsu 22000 Series ACE was introduced in 1992 as a new generation of express train.
- While following the elegant interior design of the 21000 series [Urban Liner] and 26000 series [Sakura Liner], the seat structure has been completely redesigned and barrier-free facilities have been introduced. In addition, plug doors, bolsterless bogies, VVVF inverter control, and other features have been adopted, and the design of the interior and exterior as well as the vehicle performance have all been designed under a design philosophy that sets it apart from previous Kintetsu limited express trains.
- Renovation work was carried out from November 2015, and a smoking room was installed and the train was repainted in the new Kintetsu general express train colors.
- From March 1, 2024, smoking rooms will be abolished in all Kintetsu express train cars.
